WHAT ARE B CORPORATIONS?
A Certified B Corporation is a new kind of business that balances purpose and profit as a force for good. B Corps are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. B Corps are validated by an external, independent non-profit called B Lab. B Lab assesses companies on different sustainability metrics and assigns them a score.

WHAT ARE ILC'S AND ECOVILLAGES?
Intentional living communities and ecovillages have overlapping characteristics but are not necessarily identical. Both seek to create a living environment for individuals that emphasizes sustainability more so than our current society at large does. Sustainability is often implemented in terms of social structure and dynamics, environmentally-conscious use of resources, enhanced personal and collective wellbeing, self-reflection and self-growth, as well as resourcefulness and self-reliance to some degree.
